Brown Rice Flour/Vermiculite/Water Ratio (out of these two, which is best, or is there one better?)

One tek I read says for six jars, use 3.5 cups verm and 1 cup rice flour.
Everyone has seen RR's youtube PF-Tek videos, and this says for five jars, use 2 cups verm, 1 cup rice flour.
So after doing some math, this is what it comes down to.
Tek 1, one 1/2pint jar: 140ml verm, 40ml rice flour. (does not give specifics on water) Tek 2, one 1/2pint jar: 95ml verm, 47ml rice flour. (one cup water)
Although tek 2 has less overall content, the higher amount of rice to verm is significant.
So to my question, which would you guys recommend, and why? Is there an even better ratio other than these? Has anyone out there ever experimented with different ratios and documented the results? Any help much appreciated, thanks.

The easiest way is as such:
- 2 parts verm
- 1 part BRF
- 1 part water
You do not to measure exactly, as any cup or bowl will suffice. You may end up with extra, but there are worse fates. If you have any pooling water at the bottom of your mix, add more ingredients to absorb that excess water.

Slowly wet your verm by adding water little at a time first and continue to mix till it soaks up all the water and there is a slight bit at the bottom that the verm won't hold. Add a small amount of verm to take up the excess water that the batch would not hold. Mix again and it should be at max water content then add your flour, mix again. Fluff don't mash it down. Should be fluffy not soggy,it will look light/beige in color after adding the flour. Good luck!

I've noticed that my jars with a higher BRF content are slower in colonizing than those with the original 2:1:1 ratio.
