Left Over SPORE SPILL
    #7914803 - 01/22/08 02:01 PM (16 years, 10 days ago)

So I started my shroom ventures a few years back by buying a shitty priced "kit" of sorts. the dome came and was meant to be filled with geolite and has one of those air stones in it, etc.

During my last grow I got really lazy and let things get out of hand. needless to say when I paid more attention the few shrooms that sprang had spilled spores all over the geolite sitting in the basin.

I have a few jars ready and I want to use the dome set up to control RH on a couple mini-casings. I've pressure cooked the rocks, do I need to worry about any left over spores affecting my new grow even if the casing itself doesn't make direct contact with the geo?

Spores are no problem.
So long as they're *shroom* spores, that is.
Mold spores would be bad.

Yeah your good. You can wash your rocks with bleach/soap and a good rinse. No need to pc em for the future.
