ive done it once before i just would like to know others thoughts on it. my only concern is that it would end up being a non fruiting or poorly fruiting substrain.

it's ok because so many strains are pretty good fruiters in multispore despite what some people think i have maybe 1 in every 10-15 jars turn out to be bad fruiters in multispore just make sure to get the best looking jar.

ill always use the 1st jar fully colonized in whatever batch as it would be the fastest and i think most contam resistant

mycelium doesnt resist contams it grows with it.now the fastest should be ok since contams are less likely to contam a fully colonized substrate since there isnt any food for it to grow

i always do g2g, it works for me. i usually use a sterile spoon to transfer 2-3 pieces of colonized rye to the uncolonized jar. really small transfers have shown to work better though they take longer.

I do multi spore g2g. I inoculate 8 wbs jars with a 10 cc syringe.. I like to use the most aggressive jars. The ones that colonize the fastest. For the transfer. I have been doing this for the past 4 months with great success.

Yep, about one out of every ten of mine are contaminated, but I can live with that. Works fine.
