Looking for confirmation on Monotub technique

So, if I've done my reading right I can:
-inoculate some rye spawn bags directly and allow to colonize -get me a big ol' tub -poke holes and fill with polyfill as instructed by monotub tek -add colonized rye to bulk substrate in tub -allow colonize -initiate fruiting by adding light -case with first indications of pins as suggested by fahtster -reap the bountiful rewards
Is that it? Is bulk really just that easy?

And the tub just keeps itself moist? And I don't need to PC the rye bags or anything?

rye, as with any grain must be PCed. There isn't a way around it.
Some tubs work better than others at keeping itself moist. It also depends a lot on your own environment (relative humidity, air movement) The humidity in my home is quite low during this cold winter, so I find myself having to mist my tubs every few days. Most of the tubs do not need misting, but 1 or 2 will need it.

I have to re-PC spawn bags that I buy after they've been PC'd? Or will those work for straight inoculation?

if you bought pre-sterilized bags, you don't need to resterilize them. They are already sterile.

Ok cool, I still need to boil the horse manure/straw to pasteurize though correct?

boiling is not pasteurizing. Yes, you need to pasteurize the poo properly.
The best method I've found to do this is to mix all the substrate together and hydrate it to field capacity. Stuff an autoclavable bag full of mixed substrate, seal it, place in a large pot of water and submerge. You can boil the water for the first 20 minutes or so to raise the temperature of the poo, but after that I turn my stove to 'warm' setting, it maintains the temperature of water at 78 degrees C.

It's that easy until you're hauling around a pillowcase full of steaming hot sh*t. Autoclavable bags are definitely worth it imho.

You don't have to haul it around. When I pasteurize my poo with the method in my sig, I just place the cooler in my bathtub. Once it's done, just pull the pillowcase out and place it down in the tub next to the cooler overnight to drain and cool.
