if you dont try them what makes you classify them as peyotes? what makes a peyote a peyote? i wouldnt consider certain mamilaria speciecs peyote. heyderii seems to be active according to other thoughts. to me its like the hoodia hype. nothing founded on science. trust me on mamillaria species. great collections but not more.

I define a "Peyote" as- A small Mexican cactus with entheogenic, medicinal or psychoactive properties.

I would define Peyote as the one and only Lophophora Williamsii 
imagine if you went and bought "Peyote" on the black market and it was an Ariocarpus or something. I would be one pissed off dude

Sorry, but your wrong.
Lophophora williamsii is NOT the only cactus called "Peyote" in Mexico.
Shamans in Mexico, not me, call many small cacti "Peyote".
It is not exclusive to Lophophora.
