Sterilized water? How-to?

Following this procedure
http://www.shroomery.org/8405/How-to-make-a-spore-syringe
It says to have sterilized water when creating a spore syringe.
For this purpose is boiling water and letting it cool (with the tinfoil covering on) enough? Or does the sterilization of water always refer to something along the lines of this...
http://www.ci.poquoson.va.us/to_sterilize_water.htm
...Where you also add iodine or bleach drops...

You can boil or pressure cook your water filled syringe(s). One recommendation I would make is to add a drop of Jet Dry to the water before filling and sterilizing your syringes, which helps prevent your spores from clumping.
The sterilization method in the second link you posted is geared more towards making drinking water for yourself after a hurricane, when public water supplies are succeptible to bacteria and other nasties. It doesn't apply for making spore syringes.

I like to sterilize my syringes with distilled inside and pressure cook with a jar of sterilized distilled. Use all the glove box tips and any defloculat will work. Jet dry is the best because dish soap gets suds.
