For those music lovers, what headphones do you like to use when relaxing and being taken to other dimensions?

Cool i used to use my sennheiser HD25's but they hurt after a while, im buying some DT770's 2mro tho, they are awesome!!!
I also got some shure e5c's £500 but they dont sit well in my ears, theyre good when theyre in but theyre so in ear when you swallow or cough they slip out, but they are great just not comfortable for tripping.
Im using my mate whos a sound engineers DT770's righyt now and theyre great, you can hear the lead singers lips touching each other and the finger slapping the bass!!!

Yeah, my only recommendation for headphones is sehnheiser. I bet there's even more expensive headphone manufacturers, but in the hifi world, more expensive systems do not equate with a better sound all of the time.

Beyerdynamic are great trust me i cant take them off and my ears feel refreshed after not pressurised and painful.
My sennheisers are great but too painfull and the sound when theyre closed ear like these Dt770's is amazing, you can hear the drumsticks hitting the skins, and you can hear everything i cant wait to trip with them and put on sum shpongle or the phutureprimitive CD i got in the post today!
CD's are so much better than mp3 players.
Id liek to add good speakers make for good tripping, i got a pair of 2nd hand dynaudios and they are so sweet!
I jst need to geta sub woofer now

that question would depend entirely on how much you are looking to spend. You can get some decent cheap sony's for like 100$ or spend a 1,000$ on some denon's., Depends on how hardcore an audiophile you consider yourslef.
