While tripping, I wrote this...

...strains of spores sepereated begin to become inheritants of non-preferrred genetics as do humans....
Thought it appears to be just whimsical tripsy type, I recall the thought I had surrounding this entry....
For the moment, ignore they entry that I typed while tripping and think of the original thought:
In a grain to grain transfer, a person can continue the spread of mycelium from the original source. However, as time goes on and more transfers are done, the desired outcome is theoretically botched because of whatever reason.
It seems that humans suffer from the same fate. By trying to hold onto dead and dieing cultures, rituals, and the like, as well as selecting a specific race or relegion to mate with, we are essentially heading towards a non-desired outcome.
This was much easier to picture while tripping. Sorry if I wasted your time.

I understand what you're saying, but grain to grain transfer is essentially a clone of the original.
mating makes an entirely new organism. Maybe that isn't relevent. Do you mean that if we can select our outcomes, we don't get the outcome we want?

If we try and select our outcomes, we get the outcomes we want and think we need, but we get the negative qualities associated with selecting the outcomes we want. In essence, the outcomes that we truly need, yet do not realize it, may never be accomplished if we continue to strive for the outcomes we want.
The first example I can think of....
If a Christian and Muslim were to marry, and providing both families were civilized decent people, then the outcome by proxy will be a Christian family unit and Muslim Family unit striving for symbiosis.

What appears to be a curse, can actually be a blessing.

The reciprocal of this is true as well.
