WBS without soaking

I'm interested in trying a new way of preparing spawn. I would like to do this RR rye grass seed style and put a set amount of WBS and water (+coffee+gypsum)into jars, let it sit and then PC it. I would like to ask here before I start wasting WBS and time. Have any of you guys had success with this method?
I plan on putting 250ml WBS and 120ml water into the jars. Would this cause the seeds to explode in the PC? Should I let the jars sit 24 hours? Would not rinsing invite contams? These will be inoculated with a generous amount of LC so it will be a little more forgiving.

i have done this. Some seeds explose but it isnt a problem. I used to just add seed and water and pc. now I never soak regaurdless. Now am and simmering the seed for about 15-20 mins, draining the excess water off and then pc'ing. No broken kernels, more consistant water content.
I never soak, not even rye. But i always simmer rye first. Mixingg rye with water and pc'ing works okay but rye is dirty. Simmering it first gets rid of a lot of bad stuff.

I put some WBS into PF cakes to see what would happen. Colonized fine, BTW. I microwaved the WBS beforehand. IIRC, for 5 min, stirred, then for another 5 min. Less guessing at the final water content.
