I'm becoming more and more interested in human behavior... As I observe and watch people I see them conforming (as I do) to the game of life, I find that you can easily classify the majority people based on their actions, and then from this predict their actions in another circumstance, or allow yourself to predict their thoughts (which I'm slowly getting better at).
I imagine there is a lot of literature on this topic floating around out there.. If anyone could give me some names / books I'd greatly appreciate it.

He didn't learn to interpret dreams thats just his theory and people disagree with him.
Are you saying conforming is a bad thing?
1. You can't not conform 2. Conformity is necessary for a functioning society. I.e. you cant just drive on the wrong side of the road because you feel like it.

Note how I said (how I do). I am aware that conformity is a necessity, but how people conform (i.e act) allows for grouping.. and this grouping is based around the fact that these people all show similar traits.
Everyone conforms, but how people conform differs, and I think that this allows you to interpret and predict their actions.

He never said conformity was a bad thing
Although arguably it can be. People are often "mugged" because of conformity. I don't remember the name of the guy but there was a famous robber that used to just ask people for their wallets. He would be really nice to people in the street and when they gained his trust he just asked them and they would hand it over without realizing, because they subconsciously trusted him. People can be swindled by a man in a suit and tie because he looks official.
People often go around on auto-pilot. Adults have built a 'mental map' which allows them to respond to any situation the way they always have done. In basic terms, someone says hello, then you probably have 3 or 4 quick choices you will make. Hello, good day, hi or something like that. You won't have to think of an answer. Your mental map already provides these answers.
Cepheus, you completely correct. People watching is incredibly interesting and people are indeed very predictable. Speech makes up very little of actual communication. Peoples behaviour, appearance, subtle movements etc can give away huge amounts of information.
A basic example of this from when I was a teenager... I realized that some people would pick on the weak. Bullies were actually targeting kids that wouldn't fight back by looking at their posture. The people with a slouched posture were far less likely to fight back and would be scared and thus an easy target. Then there were the kids that walked with a swagger and their chin in the air, displaying an over-confidence that meant they would not be bullied, only challenged to duals of the strongest fighter.
Its strange when you realize that you yourself have been on auto-pilot for the past however long. You can have a sudden realization of true awareness, simply observing instead of running existing brain programs.

Yeah, multiple orgasms! Seems like we got a raw deal with the blow your load and goto sleep stuff.
Plus us men have to chase the women and convince them to let us penetrate. The women just have to stand there, look pretty and take their pick.
