My freind wants to know if he can spawn wood chips (to be used in an outdoor bed) with an Amazon pf cake.(fully colonized)just by breaking in up and putting it in the bag with the chips. Will it grow onto the chips? Indoors? then take it outside? what happens to cubes that are exposed to below freezing? Should I mix in Hay/Hpoo? or what?
Or, should he take the cake and make a bunch of LC's then pour those on the chips? Or should he spawn card board squares first? (w/ the cake) or is Cubensis not a wood lover? Or should he suckit up and get a Azur. print:Thanks Guys.

You can use straw or compost.
Dig a few inches then layer spawn and you sub a few times. Then burry a little bit and spread some grass seed. Wait till after the last frost or it will die.
For wood you can use cubes and have a good outcome.

Thanks But Im asking how (or what) they should colonize inside to use as the spawn...(when it warms up)... make sense? I (I meant they)lol put wood chips in pint jars and added colonized WBS then sprayed it with an LC from a squirt bottle. (my idea)So now the colonized birdseed can "Fuck" the LC and have babies on the woodchips... I'll tell em to send me some pis. He says its going well so far. But the bottom line of my question is if Amazon WILL grow onto wood chips, and if so, is their "Nutrients" on the chips, Or should they like soak or coat em with Karo or? Will it "Feed" off the wood chips? or will they just Grow "On them" ...you see what Im asking? Can I pre condition the chips to be nutricious? or are they already? also, Is PC'ing the chips "Overkill" or unecessary? Thanks!
