I just got my salvia plant the other day, he seems weakened from his trip to me. I have been keeping her in window sunlight & watering her once a day. I'm going to move her to a bigger pot soon. Any suggestions on how often i should water & what to do to keep her happy? I've checked out lots of guides and some of then conflict. So i want some feedback from the realm of experience. Thanks!!

Give her a good misting daily, to keep the leaves from drooping.
Water when ever the topsoil is dry. Do not over-water.
Move her to a bigger pot, and add some organic fertz. to the soil

let the soil dry out almost completely between waterings... its myth that salvia likes to be kept constantly moist... just leads to root rot...
and if it is acclimatised to low humidity u can forget the misting also

and... dont repot it yet, its already stressed from its journey so repotting now would just add more stress... salvia does not like sudden changes in environment...

The leafs look alittle droopy...
I'd mist it.
Couldn't hurt.
The black leafs are due to low humidity.
So misting would help, IMHO.

From my limited experience, I'd say avoid misting and humidity tents and the like. Just give the plant time to regroup from the travel. It should come around fine on it's own given time. Misting and humidity tents become an unnecessary addiction and weaken the plant's hardiness and vitality. Just my two cents.

I'm scared to over water her & I'm scared to under water her. So far I have been doing light watering once a day.
