Dune.

Both teams three-and-out to open the game, at least they're even.

What cockfag had a linebacker covering Wes Fucking Welker?
Also, the Pats get calls their way far too often, simply because they're the Pats.

SD isn't even looking at underneath routes which is the vast majority of what Brady throws.

You must be watching with the TV off, because there are no polar bears in the Antarctic.

Woot, Quentin Jammer pick at the forty! Plus a fifteen yard facemask, already in field-goal range

2nd goal. The line isn't getting enough push.
Play-action to Gates or Jackson needs to happen. 'Cept it's now third, and they won't expect any run.

Yeah and you cover that and open up the big play down the field, or put less pressure on the QB.
edit: BTW I've been impressed with P. Rivers so far.

They need to forget 3-4 and play cover 2.

Yeah but the Pats will go 4 wide or run the in out or hi low stretch. They have the ability to break any D.
Jammer has been impressive though.

Word on the street old boy's walking around in a cast. Maybe Belichick should have given some back-ups some playing time instead of running up the score. Too nervous for the big game

Dude? Seriously? In a playoff game he hurt himself, possibly. And you bring up the fact that for the first half of the season no one could do their jobs. Big deal. He'll be fine.

I got a nursery rhyme for all the pats fans..
The unbeaten Patriots sat on a wall.. Tommy hurt his foot, and now they will fall.. All the Bostonians are filling with dread. Because Osi Umenyiora is gonna rip off Brady's fucking head!

people are talking up this walking boot like its going to be the demise of the Pats...
It is probably just a precautionary measure, as he was walking fine with it on. I doubt one of the greatest QBs (soon to be THE greatest)ever will miss out on a chance to be remembered as a GOD.

Not to mention the fact that there are 12 days until the game or some shit. He'll be FINE. Even when he DOESN'T play his best, like against SD, they still find a way to win. Brady isn't the only good player on the Patriots. He's a big part of them, sure, but even if he's not 100% I'm not all that concerned.

i seriously do not see any way that Bill Bellichick will allow his team to not focus 100% on the chance to go down in sports history and achieve the biggest football related accomplishment ever.

No one should run Cover 2 on a team that has a Brady or Manningesque QB. They will pick it apart all day. Your only real chance at stopping them is QB pressure and man coverage (assuming you have the CB's).

I feel Cover-2 would be effective against Brady because he throws forty underneath routes and screens a game. That middle of the field is going to be open for his two long-balls a game anyway.

The cover 2 will just open more long balls and huge plays, which is the reason they play the 3-4 in the first place. He will stop with the Wes Welker routes and Moss will get open. I understand your idea but it doesn't seem feasible because of how good Brady is. Actually, I think NE is tough to defend because they have so many weapons so no matter what you play they will counter. It may be the most effective to switch up the defensive package a lot and just keep Brady from a consistent rhythm.
