so everyone is looking for some ingredient to add to BRF or grain ect... whether it be some kinda vitamin or mineral. no one can exactly figure out what nutrients exactly are consumed by the mushroom.
so what if one were to take like button mushrooms or random forest mushrooms one may find and dry them cracker dry..then use the dry mushroom as new mushroom food!
what do you guys think also if one were to use a poisonis mushroom as dry food would it be dangerous?
this would be like canabilistic mushrooms :P they'll deff get their protien to be super strong :P

This has been discussed before in here... Since mushrooms consume plenty of chemicals from the substrate they grow on, I think it wouldn't be a good idea to use it as a addition, at least when you Death Caps etc. that contain heat resistant protein chains! If you'd use psychedelic mushrooms, the active compounds of the fruits will probably just be destroyed by the heat during sterilization so there's no benefit from that.

Also, a guy did this and his substrate ended up being mushie (haha) and pretty much just rotted away. Wasn't light, wasn't airy, it was slime . But try it and tell us.

Like I said, go for it man. But I think that when the mushroom dust rehydrates it's going to turn into sludge but I don't know that FOR SURE. So test it out on one or two jars and get back to us. It would be a good thing to do with the unusable parts of mushrooms like shiitake stems and whatnot.

Amen!
Anyway, would be funny to see what happens. Go try it, take some pics, while doing so, and tell us how bad you messed up
