phoenix oysters are the most aggresive, they also fruit at warmer temperatures,
blue oysters and white oysters colonize about the same rate, and both benefit from cooler fruiting temperatures.

for eating i prefer regular oysters or blue.

all the variations of the oyster mushroom are easy to grow...they resist contamination, colonize fast and arent particular about substrate, and are fairly easy to initiate fruiting.

the trick is cut holes in the bag? in order to achieve maximum humidity in the substrate and high fresh air exposure in fruits, isn`t?

they require alot of fae and a strong light source will ensure more natural looking fruits with more color on the cap.

if you look elsewhere in this forum there are people who try to transfer invitro and cake/terrarium grows to oysters and it usually leads to "coral" from oysters...i been there done that too.

heres a shot of an oyster mushroom cake i did in a typical terrarium set up with perlite and 4 inch filter patch covered holes. light was as much to blame as fae here.

FAE is the key

is needed to spray the fruits?

P. columbinus is a good one and grows easily. See sporeworks for cultures.
