Any other chocolate candy recipes?

Not much to be found in the archives. Does anyone have any good ideas of controlling the amount of shrooms for each candy? I'm guessing they should be ground to a fine consistency/powdered , weighed and added to each chocolate as it is poured? This leads back to the heat and potency issue on another recent post. The heat of the melted chocolate should not affect the potency? Correct? Anyone have any other yummy recipes? Thanks

The melting point of chocolate is just below body temperature 37 and the reason it melts in your mouth. When you pour chocolate you let it firm a bit before you pour anyways. After the chocolate is liquid Let it sit for a min off the heat then mix in the shrooms. You will be way below the danger temp.

heres the way SWIM used to do it. if you only have hand scale it can be kind of tedious but here goes. cut a bunch of corners off of baggies( to put mushies in) powder mushies which ever way is good for you. put some in then weigh...2.5 was always good..never accounted for the bag don't worry its really close.. but too each his own. get as many as you want..... get canning jar lids ready.... cut tin foil about 6X6... inches that is. then mold it to the inside of ur jar lid.hint you want to be able to cover the whole chocalte afterwards. get chocolate hershey my fav.. microwavable bowl...break pieces off into bowl then place in microwave for 30 seconds... take out stir..really try to break it down...30 seconds more.... take out stir...do this until it becomes liquid NO CHUNKS... EASY POURING...
then pour a little into jarlid w tin foil then put some mushies in then pour a little more. then stir LIGHTLY with fork continue adding till finished with each dose....... then place in freezer for 20 or 30 min... kind of difficult at first but once you get the hang of it...its simple just ALOT of chocolate..
tryed lots of methods for eating mushies but my absoloute fav..is frechetta pizza... just cook pizza till done then add mushies and scarf down with a beer.. something to do with the tomato paste helps it digest and you can't taste a thing.... too much chocalte always makes my tummy hurt... anyways happy shroomin

ok heres how its done.
http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product.cfm?id=3932BBBE-802D-F658-0EC2C00DC15929FA&fid=A065F3C3-802D-F658-0F9117ECC3CF439E
You get these type of molds, wilton brand. They have them at Micheals craft stores, the molds, the melting chocolate, and the squeeze bottles that the chocolate goes in.
all of that stuff will run you less than 15 bucks.
then you use a blender, powderize the mushrooms, and weigh out like 1/8 or 1/16 doses if they are cubensis and add to the molds as you fill it.
The temperature doesnt ever get to hot because no direct flame is ever used. You put the chocolates in the bottle and soak it in hot water kneading till its melted.
I like the mold pictured cause its the perfect size and has a space where you can put a message, like Have a nice trip, or see ya later!
plus the chocolate that wilton makes for melting is actually really fucking good for how cheap it is. Its on par with herseys.

no prob they got a bunch of molds.
this one is cool. You can only fit about 1.5 in this one though. But its a sucker mold so theyll be shroom pops.

HEHE, i made some chocolate candies this past Saturday night. I got a huge 7 or 8 oz hershey's kiss for xmas and i figured id melt it down. i used another 8 oz of the smaller hershey's kisses and melted in a double boiler and added some nestles' semi sweet morsels. As that was melting i used the food processor to powder up the 1.5 oz of mushies. when the chocolate mix was uniform in consistency i slowly added the mushroom mix. Once that was done i put in the ice/candy mold and froze overnight. when done i got some foil and covered em up. I could only make about 18 of these things so they are all for me and my buds. I also put a Reeses baking chip in the center of each candy. Each one has between 2 and 2.5 g's of mushies each. and each candy weighs 40 grams total. here's a picture:

For every 2 ounces of mushrooms.
Take 1.25 lbs Hershey's milk chocolate. It's two and a half, Half Pound Hershey's bars. (or any other milk chocolate will do) Mix with one small box of Andes mints.
Melt together. and NO, you do NOT need a silly double boiler. A regular saucepan is fine with low heat.
Add 2 ounces powdered/shredded mushrooms. More powdery mushrooms will make the trip shorter/stronger in my opinion.
Find/get/buy two ice cube trays each with 16 cubes in them. So 32 cubes total.
Split the chocolate/mushroom mixture between the two ice cube trays.
Put in freezer for 10 minutes or so. then refrigerate. They will pop out of the trays just like ice cubes. SOLID!
This mixture will make each chocolate 'cube' a half an eighth. or about 1.7-1.8 grams.
Other hints. Stir the mixture a lot in between spooning the chocolate for even doses.
Wrap with pretty shiny aluminum foil to finish.
Easy and a great way to dose if you do not like the mushroom taste. The mint taste is great with the chocolate to cover up the mushrooms. Someone else on this forum recommended the mint idea. kudos to that person/persons.
Peace!
