No, in fact the ones I posted last night are subbedhunter420's bluing hebeloma. It came an in unlabeled envelope which had a mushroom and paper in it, but nothing written on it. Looked like something from the cortinariaceae, so I wrongly assumed it was your Inocybe.
Today I opened a letter that contained the possible I. calamistrata, and I was like...crap, what was I talking pictures of last night???
I have not yet put your Inocybe on the scope.

oh damn! you already got em taken and everything. I apologize for not labeling the letter. I was sending several other letters out and forgot to put a signifying mark on it. I apologize. so... you find anything interesting out from the spores?

Gills, 100x crush mount

Note the complete lack of cystidia

At first I thought this was a cystidia, but its just a basidium, 400x:

Spore, 4000x

Spores, 2000x

Spores, 1000x

Due to the lack of cystidia on the gills, this is not an Inocybe.
When most people find this mushroom, they call it Inocybe calamistrata.
Its a good match with the specimens that Cactu has been collecting.

wow. so it's not even an inocybe. any ideas on what it could be? I can't think of anything else, and it looks so much like an inocybe.

I am open to suggestions at this point.
The "How to identify mushrooms to genus" series might have an answer.

this is fucked up. in books your mushroom perfectly matches the description for inocybe calamistrata. I'm wondering if this mushroom just got added to the inocybe genus for lack of a better place.
