its all about the tao until it stops being all about the tao. but even in the tao there is absense of tao and vice versa. which interstingly enough is all well and fine by the tao.

It gets quite mind boggling, it is such a simple concept, but is extended in all directions. It is form and non form.

"Enlightenment" Is starting to dissapoint me. SO im already enlightened? There is no answer?
Those who know say nothing and those who dont know say something.
THis all makes sense to me, however no matter WHAT i read or hear from anyone....it will never give me the answer im looking for. HOwever the answer im looking for will never be able to get put in words.
Tao, Zen, ect. all teach the same thing. THat we are all enlightened. I sure would like to end my rebirth someday.
Sorry just had to type "That"

There is enlightenment and then there is realization of one's enlightenment.
There is realization of one's enlightenment and then there is liberation...

Taoism is one of the few religions that actually appeals to me.
The only thing I don't get down with is their distrust of technology and exploration...

Taoism is a way of seeing life, a tool if you will. I personally don't agree with some techniques used in taoism, but that does not mean I can not incorporate it into my life while leaving some techniques and beliefs of the tao behind. I highly doubt taoism was meant to "organized" like other religions, it is merely a pair of glasses for which to make you see better. If it makes sense to you, then it is for you, if not, perhaps it is not meant for you.

Those who know say nothing and those who dont know say something.
Those who quote this don't know yet still quote.
I sure would like to end my rebirth someday.
I'm sorry you have to go through all that.:( It doesn't apply to me. I have this one life only. As energy there is no need of an end.

Yeah, I don't understand why you feel that way? And I don't understand how that would be an plausible idea either. "enlightenment" just sounds like a Chrisitian "heaven". So what's the difference?
Personally, I don't see a problem with eternally existing as 'whatever'. you make it sound as if we're in one world and then we graduate(are enlightened) and goto the next? We may be unable to percieve different types of "whatever" going on but an Enlightenment lottery, where we're all balls in an glass box and a certain few get to go out and be revealed/freed. All in all is still within All so stop trying to run or seek this 'whatever' it is you 'think' you 'need'. Only then will you, well, find what you've been looking for or have an answer that may be a bit more humbling.

wut ? enlightenment ? Whut da fuzz ? It seems crystal clear that it's about our most beneficial and complete state of mind and consciousness. When all and everything is harmonized within our brain. It's similar to physical health. So we live in a constant state of mental and spiritual illness which keeps us all from becoming what we deserve. Harmonized and healed minds with a healthy consciousness. One with the TAO

Haha, nice little program.
I wont preach about enlightenment because I only experienced a brief moment of enlightenment, it is something that is cultivated within ones mind.
Even within the mist of chaos of ones life, a general acceptance of every aspect of life can be obtained through enlightenment. It's basically what Jesus had going, he knew how to maintain it and stay pure, but instead buddhists and taoists do not preach about a heaven in ones afterlife, but rather a heaven here on earth within your mind.
