3/4 inch pins,now what to do?????

i went by the direct on a kit that said to leave it in diffused light while mycelium grows, heard from you guys to leave in dark, ok i put in dark. i had no pins at all yesterday,but now after i got home from work, i got many pins some 3/4" long,with a little brown tip. that all went down since last night, ill have you know this is comming out of the very few(like 3-5) spots,like the size of a quarter,where the mycelium grew, id say this casing is only 10% colinized. so im all open for suggestions, yes there growing,but way too soon,so what do i do now....may as well fruit these and spritz the casing and try again for second flush?????? im lost

Yup... Wait 'til you harvest, patch the casing, mist and wait for your second flush.

thanks, im doing some jars tonight,ill stay away from the "kits". there really not all that....and the pf tek and the cakes look like a safe and easy way to go. this casing was a preassembled thing i got from overseas, netherlands i think it was...if i had only collinized in the dark ida had more mycellium to work with..live and learn!! peace
