Hey all really quite new to the site. It's 4:09 am. and i'm bored out of my fuckin mind. So far tonight i had acouple of drinks and ate several small shoomies and now i can't fall asleep. It seems that every day that you are allowed to wake up it must be a good day. Then after your awake,, reality sets in and the day seems like shit. No matter how much you try to make it a positive day someone has to come along and shit on your parade. Don't get me wrong I have a good life and lot's of people who care about me but, things seem to pile up after time and you just have to vent. Venting by somes standards is nothing more than complaining. Venting alows the soul to shed negitive energy that it would just normally build up, then fester like a large boil. Sooner or later a boil will pop and what comes out isn't pretty, and it's nothing like Cinderella story or a verse out of the bible. Any way, that's enough, I'm done, time to try and get some sleep, I'll cont. this shit later I've had enough. How bout you????

I just don't share your pessimism. That beauty in life is always there no matter who shits on my parade. Even in my bleakest, darkest moments, I find a nearly religious joy in the fact that I am here and now and even able to feel the darkest, lowest emotions.

Did I say anything about smiling? No, I said something about joy. Joy isn't a physical thing. Joy has nothing to do with physical expression, or how you present yourself to the world. It's a feeling of luckiness at the simple fact of being alive. if you can consistently remind yourself that this is a holy moment, that you are blessed, not by any cosmic being but just by the very fact of being alive, it's a lot easier to get through the tough moments. When life is stomping its heel into your neck, if you can take a step back and say,
"Wow. I'm alive. I'm a conscious being. I'm able to step outside myself and see how I'm feeling."
Well, that goes a long way. And then you realize that fear, sadness, all these things - they are transient. Only you remain. And you are not, by default, sad or happy or angry or afraid. You're you. You're here. You're now. And you can do what you want with that.

Don't get me wrong life is good, but sometimes it's shit too. People who walk in a fairytail world just don't understand or want to accept reality. Just because one frowns, don;t mean they are unhappy. We all have the,, the glass is half full sindrome at times.

Life don't suck, sometimes it's just not easy. Easy would be good, but lifes trials do make us stronger. Man wasn't trying to rain on a parade just venting. LOL
