I havn't tripped since early november and all the sudden i'm getting HPPD. Whenever I look at a chair it dances like crazy.
Is this permanent?

Let it dance, you don't know for how long it'll happen so you might as well get used to it.

Oh man...are you getting flashbacks!? Lucky dog. Back in the day when I used LSD weekly (and sometimes twice a week for 5 years) I had phenomena like this if I quit tripping for a few weeks. I just let it roll and it would go away after a time. Don't worry about it. It is only a problem if you make it one. I get it now just on the rare occasion or in dreaming. I always enjoyed the sensation. Just chill out and go with it.

i agree, it's not unpleasant if you let it flow.
the only trouble it's ever caused me was a day when a severe optical disruption [i.e. a swirling vortex of neon refraction] obscured my vision in class during high school. i couldn't see to walk straight when class ended. never happened like that again.

Well at first it only happened if I concentrated on it but now it happens every single time I look at a chair and it's no longer fun as it is annoying.

IT can suck dude. Ever since i drank salvia tea i get weird shit from white walls and doors where wthey vibrate like CRAZY. Doesnt always happen. But when it does it does shock me for 5 seconds.......then my life goes on.
I think ive made a friend with "static vision" because that shit gets worse ever single day....and i dont even use drugs anymore!
