Directions for an Easy Life.

1. Adhere to the first dogmatic belief system you encounter.
2. Then tell those that disagree with you that they're wrong.
3. If given proof that YOU and/or your belief system is/are wrong, just insist that the proof is a lie created by ignorant, evil hate-mongers who are only trying to cause YOU trouble.

If you have any more problems, just call TECH SUPPORT at 1-800-4-EZLIFE.

I'm sorry, but I consider my life pretty "easy", and I've never heard of "EZ Life" before. I hope I'm not engaging in some kind of theft of service or infringing upon any copyright laws.

I mean, my parents are the ones who gave me this life in the first place, (I've sort of just ran with it from there) so , perhaps I should check with them?

Dogma, hmmmmm. No, I don't recall having any dogma. Could just be some coincidence. No matter.

i kinda lean towards...
1) build your own docterines based upon present circumstance.
2) Listen to EVERYone as if you were recieving WISDOM from the Tao (or God, or whatever)
3) sort it all out with silence...

I LOVE ignorance! I've come to crave those times when i say 'i don't know.'

It's a big relief!

have fun!

thx,

You forgot step 4-

4. Never eat mushrooms to find out the truth about everything - drugs are bad.

What's wrong Shroomism, did you choose a life that's too easy this time?

No my life is full of challenges and other such extremes of stimuli and things to contstantly learn from. In fact my life is hard, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

It's just my opinion that an easy life, where everything is handed to you, and you face little to no challenges or hurdles to overcome, is a stagnant state of being.

I agree with you, adversity and diversity make life interesting (and build character).

But also remember there is stupid hardship 90% created by our selves, 10% perhaps to teach us a lesson.
I am convince more and more that when you start fallowing your spirit or true path things in the world, start working smoothly.
Remember how it is inside it is outside.

Did Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Jr., Jesus, et al. have an easy life from following their path? Does not appear to be so.

Well what I have seen, is that when a person comes to this life, to help change the consciousness of humanity, in some way, terrible forces, like in the case of the people that you mention, will confront him or her.
They choose to deal with those forces, for a grater good and usually out of love, and that's why we admire them and recognize that there above the average human.
And nothing is a set rule, just because you are fallowing your path and start to create a more positive out look in your world, you still have to deal with reactions from past doings. But things in general will clear up.
I see it very simple or you change for the better or life will make the change for you.
The more you resist, the more you will suffer.
What I am telling you is from my own experience, understanding and reflection that I came so far.
I still state that most of the common sufferings that people are afflicted are by there own doing. (The doings could be emotional, mental or physical)

Depends what you consider easy. Being true to yourself and your path can be a lot easier than spending your life doing something that never fullfills you. I think the saying is "better a king for a day than a schmuck for a lifetime". Each way has it's problems.

I doubt it... I live on the east coast. But most of 'em are about 80%ish the same (except a few weird denominations).
