i was so excited, i got some burma spores back in october and this is the first of my work and im a bit flustered.

this is 1 wbs jars, h-poo substrate, and 50/50 casing i remember it fruiting days before christmas, and the fruits are very tiny, i mean dime sized tiny, there hasnt been "flushes" there has just constantly been little guys and new pins showsing up...but these guys are soooo tiny.
heres the kicker....yesterday i FINALLY ate 3.4 grams dried by a nesco dehydrator. i ate them in a philly cheese-steak and NOTHING HAPPENED. at most i got a body tingle, and just felt kinda dumb and slow, but NO racing thoughts or visuals or any shroom like characteristics, i was so pissed!!!

the caps are SO tiny, and yes the veils did break on most of them, so i kno i did not pick pins.

why are these fruits so small, and not potent. should i just throw this bitch out, bc these guys keep coming...and its been a month!
will my other monotubs from the same spores look just like this one, i thought burmas were decent sized and atleast bigger than 2 inches.
help guys!

Even though you cased and everything the humidity might be the problem I'd check it and if it is low, like below 90 then add a humidifier or something to boost that humidity. Otherwise the casing has some underlying infection or it could just be a bad spore print. If humidity or dunking the casing doesnt work then toss the bitch and better luck next time buddy.

If the food dehydrator was on low then its not the problem. As I said, its either the humidity, bad spore print, or a contamination. Deal with it.

Well if its still a tonne of knots and your casing is colonized why do you try recasing with something else cant hurt it if its already crap. haha or try redunking it

I would try dunking with water with malt extract or some nute additive. Maybe the substrate is lacking something and that is why they aren't potent. As was already pointed out if it is already a loss, the worst you can do is get nothing more, but you could score as well.

Yeah don't dunk with malt/sugar/agar/brown rice anything except water. It's a prime vector for contaminants to grow.
