I am just beginning my cactus collection. I started off with San Pedro's from NO SOURCES, but my favorite so far would be the Peruvian Torch. I have scoured the internet but could only find the so called "San Pedro Macho" that every ethnogarden company is calling T. Peruvianus (Peruvian Torch). In my opinion they all look more like Cuzcoensis. I'm no expert so I'm gonna post pictures of my starting specimens. Here is my first Peruvianus. I beleive it's from the Rimac River valley, Peru
My first Peruvianus. From Rimac River Valley. I think..

Here is my T. Bridgesii at 7 inches

Here is an unknown variation of T. Peruvianus. is anyone familar with it?

I'm just starting my collection. I beleive the top and bottom cacti are both from the same variation of Peruvianus, however I could be wrong. I know the middle is bridgesii but I am hoping to start my collection with as many different variations of T. Peruvianus I can find. I mostly only come accross the T. Cuzcoensis for sale on the internet except they are always labeled as Peruvian Torch and San Pedro Macho. If anyone has any advice on what additions I should make next to my garden I'd appreciate it. I still havn't decided wether I am gonna start them in the ground or in large pots. I can't wait till spring when I can start my seedlings.

Yes I realize it's seed grown. I meant that that particular variation supposedly originates from the Rimac River Valley, Peru. Sorry for not making myself clear.

Thanks, it's taken me allot of effort to get just the few I have. It's really difficult to find any true Peruvianus over the internet. Everyone seems to be selling T. Cuzcoensus as Peruvian Torch. Now I'm getting ready to germinate some cactus seedlings indoors to get ready for spring. I've got T. Panchanoi, T. Peruvianus ( Matucana, Peru), and T .Macrogonus. This will be my first time germinating cactus from seed so I'm planning on learning as I go.
