Rye Flour vs. Brown rice flour

anyone else notice when using both flours with the same recipe that the rye colonizes much slower? My brf jars are at 100% and the rye is only at 50% I noticed the texture between the two were different and that the rye was super sticky but never considered what this would do to colonization

the key isnt the kind of either but the grade of the non nute material mixed .. use large grade verm .. it colonizes much faster trust me ! and cold water also .. it retains the structure of the vrem grade ..

rye has something in it that is sticky .. this is why you soak / simmer also .. it releases all that when its in grain form .. if u ever forgoed that process u wud notice the adhesiveness of the grains .. they dont bother when making the flour im sure .. as i said atop .. courser grade verm would help this problem ..

i just noticed something else. This is why people see heavy pinning on cakes that are left in the jars. So the water droplets that are on the glass and basically on the surface of the cake

nice jars but fuk me thats a lot of tape and tyvek lol .. paranoid ? haha .. yah big vrem pulls away a lot quicker and enables humidification to form on the jars .. good pure water with nutes in it .. isnt really an issue to fruit from such a jar if u tape the outside to avoid side pinning .. better perhaps on smaller grows ..
