question on autoclave & Sautéing Mushrooms

All right for my first question... my autoclave when i put it on a pre programmed program it will heat up to 250 Fahrenheit adn get to around 16 PSI...... but when i made my own program to heat up to 250 Fahrenheit it reached as far as 30 PSI and im curious if this is normal if its the temperature and not the PSI that kills the spores.
For my second question..... could i sauté psilocybe Cubensis B+ mushrooms with less then 30% potency loss? or is it to hot and will be a complete waste....

Cooking shrooms does not seem to negatively affect potency at all. I always eat them cooked if I can. They taste better and can be digested if cooked.

30 psi absolute maybe, I doubt its getting to 30 psi gage pressure.
Meaning atmoshpereic is 15psi + 15 psi of pressure = 30psi. Otherwise you have one industrial strength autoclave.

I would say its not even 50/50... 100% of the time I've cooked them, I tripped balls. Never any hint of lost potency.
I've also read that fresh shrooms were often preserved by pressure cooking them and sealing them in jars. Haven't tried that one, probably won't.
The short answer is cook them with eggs, just as you would a button mushroom. If you've got more than you know what to do with, experiment.

As far as cooking goes, I would think you are ok. Just don't fry them to a mush. Personally, I like peanut butter and shroom samiches.
