hey chaps! i have a mate who is growing some golden teachers, she hasn't cold shocked them, but 5/6 mushrooms have already grown but only one at a time with about a weeks difference, is it too late to coldshock them and would that get multiple mushrooms to grow at the same time? oh also whats the best way to store them? cheers

what id do is... 1.put a clean container in the fridge full of mineral water 2.wait till its nice and cold 3.put on some latex gloves 4.clean the cake ie remove debris and aborts 5.submerge the cake under water for 6-9 hours 6.roll the cake in dry vermiculite 7.fruit the cake

You don't cold shock tropical species. cold shocking is a myth for cubes. you can dunk in cool water but cold water isnt likely to help pinning.

most likely from receiving a much needed drink of water. not from the cold.

sorry but.. whats a humidity bag? standing water is never good it will harbor contams.. you should be wiping off excess condensation or have a drip pan of perlite. we wont know how much water you should spray... you are going to need good hygrometer. the ones at the smokeshop (analog cigar humidor hygrometers) work great. digital suck ass.
