Downsides of mycobags? / Clarification questions

So I plan on starting my first grow in a couple days. I've read practically every technique for growing these beauties (including the advanced ones which I'm sure I'd fuck up), and I believe I've finally settled on using a mycobag. I mean, it seems like the simplest, noob-proof method out there, and it's an operation that's easy to conceal. I plan on fruiting right in the bag. Yes, I checked to see if these were answered in other forums, but the answers I found either simply didn't apply to my plans or they were hazy/vague.
A few questions: 1)What's a typical yield I could expect from a 2-lb. bag of brown rice flour, vermiculite, and some other ingredients (follows the PF recipe, pretty much, with some additions like kelp, bee pollen, and popcorn)? This includes (hopefully) a few cycles of flushes with one dunk after the first flush.
2)How many cc's of spore solution would be best for a 2-lb mixture? Some say no more than 5 cc's, some say no more than 7 cc's. I just want to make sure.
3)When fruiting, could I attach some sort of black cloth around (the outside of) most of the 'block of substrate' in the bag to encourage fruiting to happen only vertically? It seemed like an ingenious idea, but on second thought, it could just drastically reduce the amount of pinning. Hopefully someone has some thoughts on this.
4)How much light should the bag get when fruiting?
5)Are there any general downsides to the mycobag technique? (people have said the yields are less-than-impressive, but considering the cost of growing vs. the cost of street buying, I'd be pretty happy with at least 1 ounce dry from a 2-lb. bag...but correct me if that's aiming low or high)
Sorry about the barrage of questions, and I might have more later so I appreciate the guidance. Any answers would be appreciated.

It's considered bad form to bump a thread in the first 25 minutes.
Your yield will vary- and no one can really tell you for sure.
for 2 pounds, why not go with 4-6 cc's
You could attach a black cloth, and it may reduce your side pinning, but if yield is your concern, there's no point in covering it.
Enough light is a couple of hours to a 12/12 cycle.
My buddy is also growing a few bags because it was cheap and clandestine, but everyone is different.

Mycobags are pretty shitty IME. Perhaps they've evolved in the years since I made my own.
You definitely shouldn't be using one for your first try. There's problems with air exchange, complete sterilization, complete colonization, etc..
You really need to do a PF tek grow for your first round. It will teach you a lot and gives you by far the best chance of success. You probably should have picked up that tidbit in your readings.

Well I don't really have the time, space, or liberty to go through with a complicated process like the PF jar technique (I know it's not THAT complicated, but I don't have access to a pressure cooker and more importantly, the privacy needed to give me time to do the whole process). The 'set it and forget it' mantra definitely describes the exact situation I'm in.
In the future, I plan on trying things like the PF tek or other teks, but the mycobag method is perfect for me at this point.
Anybody have anymore answers to my questions?

Mycobags are made of plastic and have a tyvek filter built in. Look at them like a flexible jar, only larger. Other names they're sometimes called are 'filter patch bags', 'spawn bags', 'gusseted poly bags', and a few others. 'Mycobags' don't colonize-what's inside them does. You'll still need to mix substrate and pressure cook. If you don't have a pressure cooker, stick to 1/2 pint jars and the pf tek, even it that isn't what you wanted to hear. RR

I suppose I didn't clarify what I meant by mycobags...my bad. I plan on buying from a reputable dealer who sells the bags pre-mixed and pre-pressure cooked.
RR, I thought a pressure cooker was still needed in the PF tek? I've seen some people saying you can simply boil them in a pot with a lid on it, while others have said that won't do.
