I don't know a lot about this...like what *percent* of a country's economy goes into military spending etc...but I found this interesting. And it kinda made me proud in some weird way. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_spending
-------------------- 'Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they're wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It's all in how you carry it. That's what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you're letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain and leave the Shroomery.' ~ Jim Morrison

"What exactly are you proud of in those statistics? That the U.S. spends roughly 3x as much on military expenditures as the rest of NATO nations combined, & these statistics were for 2002, before the U.S. waged an aggressive war & continues an occupation to secure oil in the Middle East, which has probably increased the disproportionality of those figures even more? Or are you proud that the U.S. already has puppet dictators in several Arab nations for the same purpose, & would like to have two more (Iraq & Iran)? "
A) Thanks for quoting MY link back to me like I didn't read it the first time.
B) "What are you so ProudProudProudyProud about?" Yeah, all the above, that's why it's so *weird* to me. Maybe I'll start another topic on this!
C) We have 'puppet dictators' ALL OVER THE GLOBE, or don't they talk about the "Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation" at FNBs anymore?
C) "disproportionality" WOW... you play scrabble? We could team up and starun dis bitch! You would KILL with that word!
Blue) You honestly do NOT seem very "relaxed" to me, perhaps you should change your mood to "chip on shoulder" and move to Mexico to help out in the peasant revolt? Surely you'd be more effective in the global struggle against tyranny than unleashing your scholarly fury here on the Shroomery? (gigglegiggleSnort)
But what the hell do I know? Not much. I'm just some schmuck from the sticks here to have fun and try out some honesty and hopefully learn a few things along the way!
