LC materials replacement
    #7883115 - 01/15/08 12:10 PM (16 years, 17 days ago)

ive been looking for the proper materials for some time now , and due to language diferences etc etc i cant , so im trying to work with what i can get , i want to ask before y buy the stuff cos its not exactly cheap

so for a LC , i would usually need Dry Malt, Dextrose and gypsum
what i could get , im thinking i could eb the same but anyway

i can get dry malt extract(powdered), Dextrin , and gypsum

so since im not sure if the dextrine will do the same s the dextrose , im looking for something that could replace it

Follow this tek/pics by monstermich. I have heard that agar was the first guy to suggest the use of whatman filters but i do not concern mysef with the small stuff

Here is the link to monstermichs thread

Follow the recipe to the T! 1 gram of powdered malt is plenty for 500ml. Do not use honey,turbino,karo,etc....... If you want to do it right the firt time than follow this recipe and this tech.

use 1 gram of powder per 500ml of water per jar. Pc at 10-15 psi for 20 minutes

Let cool
