i love eating lsd during the day more than at nite, although a good sunrise with wide pupils is hard to beat; mushrooms on the other hand are a nite time thing for me

crappy lsd definitely has body load. i've purged from some bad lsd before, as well as had complete body cramps/aches. i also purged once on really good l because of how hard and fast the come up was (things started spinning)

Tripping alone is great, I tripped on 5 grams and it changed my life. Not even a little, I totally decided to change my life.

Acid is not good for you, but it is good. I've done it a few times in college...that was years ago, I'm still reaping the benifits, fun.
Not good for you how? Or did you just make that up on the spot? Acid isn't bad for you, except for the risk of mental illness, but that's about the same with all psychedelics with the apparent exception of Peyote.
What? Mescaline, specifically in peyotl has just the same sort of capacity for nastyness as other drugs.

Horrible stuff. Made me sick like I wanted to die. I got to puke and I can't. Just excruciating spasms of the asparagras, or whatever you call that gadget. Finally the peyote comes up solid like a ball of hair, solid all the way up, clogging my throat. As nasty a sensation as I ever stood still for. The high is interesting, but hardly worth the sick stage. Your face swells around the eyes, and the lips swell, and you feel like an Indian, or what you figure an Indian feels like. Primitive, you understand. Colors are more intense, but somehow flat and two-dimensional. Everything looks like a peyote plant. There is a nightmare undercurrent. I had nightmares after taking it, one after the other, every time I went back to sleep. In one dream I had rabies and looked in the mirror and my face changed and I began howling. Another dream I had a chlorophyll habit. Me and five other chlorophyll addicts are waiting to score. We turn green and we can't kick the chlorophyll habit. One shot and you are hung for life. We are turning into plants. —William S. Burroughs, Queer
And I like mescaline.

That makes me anticipate my first encounter with mescaline even more. Hopefully I'll be able to handle the situation a little better and see it as a great new tool for my psychonautical exploration... Personally, I tend to enjoy LSD much more when I do it in my home, or someone's home in which I am perfectly comfortable. I like it to start in the afternoon on a sunny day, then taper off into the night where I can run around in the dark scaring the shit out of myself. I don't know what it is.. it might be this complex in my mind where I prefer it in a modernized environment, because it is man-made and a much younger rite-of-passage than shrooms... while I enjoy the traditional mushrooms immersed in Nature, where I can get in touch with my simpler primitive soul. That's how my mind works with this shit, anyhow. P.S. Batman Begins is on TV right now, and it's at the scene where he inhales the flowers vapors and starts tripping as a ninja training session... to face his fear. ..I fucking love this movie so much, just for that.

Francis Crick, the Nobel Prize-winning father of modern genetics, was under the influence of LSD when he first deduced the double-helix structure of DNA nearly 50 years ago.
The abrasive and unorthodox Crick and his brilliant American co-researcher James Watson famously celebrated their eureka moment in March 1953 by running from the now legendary Cavendish Laboratory in Cambridge to the nearby Eagle pub, where they announced over pints of bitter that they had discovered the secret of life.

do some more digging. watson and crick actually stole the idea from someone else...maybe borrowed is a better word. they did finish it up, though, and he was on lsd at the time, yes
