Do I still need to mist manually?

The humidity in my FC keeps at about 85% without spraying with a bottle. I have 2 tubes lining the bottom of the terrarium and it's keeping a steady 85-90%. I fan but only because I'm not sure if the air pump circulates enough air. But mainly, do I still need to spray on a regular basis? Also, this is the first time Ive tried a self contained FC. I had 2 pull one tube from the pump because the humidity may have been too high (if it's possible). My guage only goes up to 90 or so and if the humidity gets any higher, The readout just reads 'HI'.

if you are fruiting cakes 85% Rh is a little low, if you just mist a couple times a day you could raise your Rh significantly or just add more perlite and that will raise your Rh

I'm not using cakes, I found out long ago that casing is the only way to go. So you're saying I should go ahead and get the humidity up past 85? 'Cause I can do that!

with casings you dont want your Rh too high, you may need to just tweak it here and there to find the sweet spot, but you probably want an Rh somewhere between 85 and 95 depending on how moist your casings already are

yes yes yes, get the casing wet. You need higher humity and a wet casing to induce pin formation. You also need to keep the casing WET to keep it from overlaying and bsically turning into a cake

Cased substrates thrive in near 100% humidity. I'm curious why you can't get above 85% humidity? A few inches of perlite will deliver 95% easily. RR

I can get the humidity up above 85, thats not a problem. I just wasn't sure if I needed to mist even though the humidity is above 85. Now, should I get the humidity up to 100%?

yes you should directly mist the casing. The casing layer is there to hold moisture and high humidity in at the surface where the myceliujm is at. A dry casing will also keep the high humidity of the fruiting chamber out. You need to mist!!!!!!!!

I bet the air pump is dropping your humidity, since its pumping in air that is lower in RH.
