let me know if this sounds good before i ad my core samples.
300ml of water in a qrt. jar 10-11 grams of karo pc'd 15 minutes @ 15 psi (should i do longer?)
when its all cooled down i plan on taking a couple core samples with a scapel from the meatiest part of the stem and just dropping them into the lc medium
heres the tek in case anyone wanted to check it out

I heard using a syringe to stab the inside stem of a shroom is a good way to clone too.

I'll be using this technique pretty soon, but I think I'll stick with the syringe through the stem, seems a bit more fool-proof

are you bringing up the heat too quickly in the PC? try to slowly bringing the heat up and see if that helps, also make sure the liquid isnt cold when putting it in the PC, although i dont see why it would be

Yeah my Karo was clear..I just made a LC still have not done the biopsy but mine is still clear after the PC. Fixing to knock up three more jars of WBS then I will sterilize that syringe and use it for the sticking..good luck on yours and keep us updated! pe@ce

hmmm. i only pc'd it for 15 minutes @ 15 psi.
everytime ive made a lc with this corn syrup they always turn piss yellow.
it is generic brand karo though. i read somewhere that not all "karo's" have the same sugars in them and some will brown sooner than others.
do you think its still good? i guess we'll see

It should be fine. It's just annoying to have your nice clean cultures be piss yellow.
