Yes, when the sperm penetrated the egg.
I can't say either way but arguing that the world is too perfect isn't a decent argument for the existence of god.

How does that relate to god?

Changed my post after you read it "I can't say either way but arguing that the world is too perfect isn't a decent argument for the existence of god."

Also arguing about the existence of disasters is not really the best argument for his absence. By that I am merely trying to point out a situation of insufficiency, not to find an argument that would imply the existence of god.

I was actually referring to the other poster who speculated so. But my point was to mention disasters and perfection, and that there is no way of stating if there is or isn't a god with that argument.

ever thought of the universe being infinite? with no creator or beginning? then the idea of god could simply be the essence of life itself...??

My definition of god IS evolution.
For me, they are both the exact same thing. God and evolution work together.
I kind of take what you wrote as more "how can you believe that god used intelligent design over evolution?".
If that isn't what you meant, then I hope you understand that there are millions of different gods to billions of different people.

I don't know that he didn't, but how do you know that Satan didn't create evolution by ejaculating into the womb of the cosmic Marie Antoinette? And if either of those scenarios are true, we are forced to ask "who created God? who created the guy that created God? who created the guy that created the guy that created God?" Do you see the kind of logical chaos that this type of thinking creates?
Your're right, that type of thinking is very irrational. That's the problem, the human mind has such a hard time grasping the idea of infinite that it chooses instead to think of everything as being "created".
I believe that every single plain of existance is infinate in that it just exists, that includes both this world and the highest level of pure spirit (or God).

I think the christan god is retarded... I do believe in some kind of god. Ie. Energy some type of network in which all is connected. Karma. N shit.
Maybe the universe bring a lot like how a computer works and god is the central brain. And this computer is running endless calculations like... Us, earth, gravity.... EVERYTHING. Kinds like that fold thingy shroomery is involved in

Not every christian believes in the same god...
My grandmother greatly surprised me by having a very close definition for god as I. She is a devout christian.
She told me, "I believe god, is whatever created us. Whatever we are a part of. Whatever turned that big bang into us, by one way or another, I'll call god."

Love is in fact energy. It takes energy to produce love. Energy doesn't die only changes. And would explain Satan. Since really you can only truely hate someone you loved. Energy is a perfect defination for god. Its probley the only thing that always was. Always will be. Its everywhere. It created the universe. (big bang...dark energy) Just my theroys though. I respect everyones opinion

Heavenly father yes, but you can interpret that any way you want to.
A father, is something that created something. It doesn't have to be a man. It can be an entity.
Just because it seems like it should mean man in the sky, doesn't mean it does for all christians. There are many interpretations.

This is where things get bogged down. People use different words for the same thing, and being that we communicate using these words there's no real way to tell. Even a definition requires the use of more words, and more subjectivity. Consensus definitions are an illusion, and that applies to God more than anything.
