What's with all the Aristotelian yes / no, either / or logic in here?

An intelligent "force" behind the mechanics of nature seems perfectly possible, if not probable, to me.

yeh the pattern of life it's precariousness and resiliency are too damn  perfect to be some chaotic random force, there must be some infallable force behind it all, or maybe the pattern will just repeat it self into self-redestruction.  :royalrainbow:

You're a fool and a half!!! Believing in God doesn't mean that you are instantly some sort of close minded dumb fuck!!

If you look at the world closely enough everything can be explained through a sience of the soul.

You can sure use logic in this case. If you believe in both God and evolution you can say: "God created the universe and evolution is true" which is either true or not true.

In the theory of evolution it doesn't matter wether there is a God or not tho'. Many scientist do wonder about the fact that people think life needs to be designed but that God is just eternal and isn't designed by anything.
You might then as well say that the universe itself is eternal and not designed by anything, especially since evolution shows life doesn't need a designer.

Anyone to whom this feeling is alien, who is no longer capable of wonderment and lives in a state of fear is a dead man. To know that what is impenatrable for us really exists and manifests itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, whose gross forms alone are intelligible to our poor faculties - this knowledge, this feeling ... that is the core of the true religious sent iment. In this sense, and in this sense alone, I rank myself amoung profoundly religious men."

My point was that there are other kinds of logic besides either / or...

Perfection of life is not exactly true, we have had ice ages and still today have natural disasters that we still cannot control. It might seem perfect because so many species have died out and we are naturally selected to our environment.

Disasters for who?
They obviously serve to the health of this planet.

That's actually the point, they help to better the planet, not humans. Since some theists claim that we were created, wiping out people would be detrimental.

I don't know that he didn't, but how do you know that Satan didn't create evolution by ejaculating into the womb of the cosmic Marie Antoinette? And if either of those scenarios are true, we are forced to ask "who created God? who created the guy that created God? who created the guy that created the guy that created God?" Do you see the kind of logical chaos that this type of thinking creates?
