What to look @ under the Microscope?
    #7879561 - 01/14/08 06:07 PM (16 years, 18 days ago)

For all you Microscope pros out there I'm trying to figure out what I could look at under my scope next... I already tried the following; blood, hair, semen, feces, spores, and mycelium. Whats next??? Also is their any tests I can do to see the quality of the scope and objectives?

Thank you very much for any help you could give me...

lol Thaats it you hit the 4 majour food groups. Might as well sell the scope.

Did you draw and lable them? to compair later?

I like to look at parts of insects. I go looking for mutated plants and trees, slice it thin and look at how the cells differ. Feathers are cool. We have a type of fungus that only eats feathers that is fun to watch.

Lol Im gonna guess it was your blood hair and semen and feces? So now try and get some from a diffrent aged person or species and compair. Might want to try and get some premade slides lol or get it yourself whatever floats your boat.

Tounge cells with milk will grow while ya watch but I'm sure ya have done that in class.

i like to put different strains of bud on the scope and look at the different amount and or quality's of trichomes. THC looks like lil mushrooms under the scope.. also every spore is different start trading with people and make a little library.

Don't know about the tongue cell/milk experiment but you can try some water from your local pond (you will have more luck from the bottom of the pond).
here is a VIDEO I made recently

Some shrimp eggs maybe if you can get them. The bigger version's name is seamonkeys I belive.

saliva, saliva dried, some sugar+water solution dropped/dried on a slide can be nice.

You can also try to try and pull a stain if you can't get nothing else, then use iodine.

Microorganisms is the way to go.

I think they also have one on there for bacteria.
