does it hurt if I say inoculate 120 jars throw them in my incubator and leave them for over a month? im planning on going to the UK for a couple months so assuming normal colonization takes 3weeks + 1 week standard they would be in there for 8 weeks total or 4 weeks extra however u want to put it. thinking of prepping tons of jars before I go maybe up to like 300.. does it hurt if they're sitting for a while in the jars? if so how long can I leave them?

if you are making that many jars just dont use an incubator. if you can find someplace in your house that is consistently 73-78 they will be fine. Although I dont know about leaving contams to grow in your house (if you do get them)
i think they can buildup metabolites from sitting to long? check out the orange liquid thread.

i don't think it will hurt anything but it might start pinning while you're still away. Good Luck!

If you're going to be gone that long, find a cool place to leave them. I've seen jars fully colonize in six to eight weeks in a cold gargage in the winter time, when they were exposed to 40F to 50F the whole time. RR
