Why? This is the Internet. You can be anybody you want to be. Why choose to be and abrasive and unkind?
What's your reason?

Some people try to fit others are just douche bags.

Because people are inherently dicks.

Because it's fun, and this is the internet and I'll never actually meet you, so fuck you. Quit being such a fag.
It's not like I'm trying to fuck any Shroomery members. I can be hella nice if you're a fine bitch and I'm trying to get my dick wet.

Why be a butt hurt? Why make your state of mind depend on what others act like? Seems to me that the problem starts from you.

Have you ever been out to get a pack of cigarettes or something and feeling kind of down, and then a cute girl smiles at you and all of a sudden you feel better about yourself?
The opposite kind of thing happens when somebody drives into a puddle and splashes you, or when somebody cuts you off in traffic. It can bring you down, and if somebody were already feeling down, it could drive him to anger or despair.
We are social animals genetically programed to desire the respect and affection of others. Our minds "depend on what others act like" due to our human nature. Your psychology might work for a robot, but not for you or the rest of us flesh and blood types.
