Instead of using horse poo could I pasturize my own poo and use it in a casing? Does it have enough nutrition?
Thanks

because it would be much easier than buying or going out in the field to get horse poo. sounds gross, but is it really any worse than using animal crap. that would be funny to see someone dropping a log in their glove box and then innoculating it with some LC.

yeah, you can't do that
cow, horse, deer, rabbit, elephant, chicken to an extent(very high nitrogen) not only does the animal need to be a vegetarian they need a certain digestive track that doesn't really digest everything so u end up with a raw high fiber pile of shit.
cows, horses, deer, and rabbits all shit tons (my friend claims to have used rabbit shit so I'm including that)
and I'd rather eat a horses shit over my own any day, not that I plan to consume shit.

hell yes it's worse... there's lots of bacteria on human feces. eating something grown in it could get you really sick. especially if it's in direct contact, like the stipe of the shroom. I can see how it would be convenient, and possibly very funny. but even if you could, would you REALLY want to eat something that was grown in your own shit?
