What communion hath light with darkness. Loving thy neighbor does not mean becoming part of their evil and abomination and in so doing mocking of God's Holy Word and Law. Read the Bible as the WHole Word of God and learn something besides this hippie love child garbage of Satan.
I'm still trying to figure out what that means^^^^^

so quit trying to write your own laws by being so damned gay

It doesn't?
You've never met a useful person who happens to be religious?
If you think you haven't, you're fooling yourself.
Man you guys give atheism a bad name.

usefulness has nothing to do with it...I've known a lot of jackasses that were good at *something* but just because I could rely on em for, whatever, doesn't negate the fact that they're still a mother fucken moron
religious people (in general) don't like to think / they don't like to question / they don't like to know
most religious people (especially the 'hard core' types) want to have their lives lived for them, and they want to be told everything they can and will do, and be convinced repeatedly that this is the way it's supposed to be, and live their entire god damn existence never having a single god damn original thought their entire fucken lives
and if you ask me - that's an idiot

ive met a few christians who were smart, logically thinking people, but they also had their own interpretation of the bible and disagreed with most church teachings. many many christians are stupid fucks though. but not ALL of them, just a whole hell of a lot.
i for one am not specifically religious, but spiritual in my own way, and im definatly not an idiot.

Those not exposed to spirituality and also fail to feel and see divinity in life are not yet knowledgeable enough.
Those that are exposed to spirituality and do feel and see divinity in life achieve their awareness through faith.
Those not exposed to spirituality, yet do feel and see divinity in life are spiritual beings regardless of thier own self-image.

from wikipedia "A religion is a set of common beliefs and practices generally held by a group of people, often codified as prayer, ritual, and religious law"
if we use this definition, i am not hostile towards religion. there are several sets of "common beliefs and practices generally held by a group of people, often codified as prayer, ritual, and religious law" that i don't have anything against at all.
using your beliefs to justify things that are clearly wrong is the problem. "lets kill homos", lets kill those other guys who don't believe". "lets fuck those who are different"
fuck you chistians fuck you muslims
maybe its human nature, cause if i was the leader of some large population, i would start feeding all you assholes to the lions.

Those that are hateful towards religeous groups are envious because their own lives are without meaning and lack fellowship with God.
They do not and can not understand what it is to hold beliefs and faith in a divine creator. In reaction, they bow to their own ignorance and do what any knowledgeless child would do. Ridicule and rebel. Such is the way of ignorance.
There is only one way to salvation, and that is through the word of God. Deny this law and you will spend an eternity in torment.

That's still no reason to write someone else's entire life off as idiocy. We all have our quirks, prejudices and inane beliefs. You are no exception.
I hope you fall in love with a Christian

The difference is that scientists do not assume scientific theories are inalienable truths. That refusal to accept the possibility of being incorrect is where a belief becomes dogma.
For the record, I don't think this justifies hostility towards others though.

Hostility against religious people is not something that usually contributes debate. But if somebody thought I was damned to hell and that I was a sinner that was going to be punished, I would be kind of hostile.

let *me* get 'knowledgeable' about this one, and tell you how truly truly WRONG your are about it
I come from a VERY religious family...my uncle is actually the pentecostal equivalency of an archbishop or some shit of the UPCI church (meaning that he is the HNIC of the entire southwestern united states in this organization - Arizona / Nevada / Utah / lower California - all of it) so you can guess what sort of upbringing I came to be in
...now...
keep in mind that I'm a very *spiritual* man myself...I'm just not *religious* by a long shot
and it's because my entire existence has been nothing BUT people who are continuously putting on a false facade for people in order to present the image that they're being told they are *supposed to* present
- when my father shot himself - my grandmother got sent to california to be with my uncle who lives there
(so that her distress didn't somehow or another 'affect' everyone else in the church who were sympathetic towards her)
- when my aunt (the pastor's wife) had a mental breakdown - she was swept under a rug and left to fend for herself
(again - because her own damn husband didn't want her 'problems' to rub off on the rest of the congregation)
- and when I fucken opened up to the pastor and told I had questions - I lost all my 'privileges' to hang out with people my own age
(so that I wouldn't influence these people to think for their damned selves for a change)
the problem with religion isn't the fact that it's wrong for people to believe in something - it's because the fact that they're not being given the opportunity to explore other possibilities (and more importantly - they're shunned from the rest of the group if and when they ever have reason to look a little farther in depth into the things they're being taught that aren't *quite* 'enough' for them to go entire by faith with these things)
and you can't expect someone to want to look for answers if it means their entire existence has to come crashing to a halt in doing so
my problems with religions aren't the things that these people choose to cling onto...it's the ways these beliefs are being enforced
