okay so I've got your link working and have failed to see where you think I have admitted incorrect information. So the amount of actives vary with subsequent flushes, does that prove anything a said unjust? No.

I think zyx and FF are both right, if you combine their information.
What's whith that "stronger", but still .01% crap? I couldn't invent something screwier.

not to mention your source of information is from 1982. scroll up in your link and read why nthey think mushrooms turn blue. Your BOOK, your holy source of wrong information doesn't know blueing is oxidation of psilocybin

> most psilocybin is produced in the early stage of fruiting.
I took that to mean earlier flushes, which would be incorrect. There are a lot of factors, but production of actives does slow a bit as the fruits mature.
You need to tone it down zyxwvutsr, you're not making a good start here. You want to argue with a source then stick to that, don't be accusing me of spreading misinformation. You really don't need to get so excited either. It doesn't help prove any points.
FYI it's the oxidation of psilocin, not psilocybin, that may or may not cause the bluing. That's still a debated topic amongst the most experienced mycologists here.
For someone with a dozen posts or so you're way to argumentative, especially with experienced members here. Just a word of advice, if you want to be respected here you'll tone things down and quit acting like and excitable teen.

Tone it down? Pro_x is wrong, I corrected him. You thought I was wrong but that was misunderstanding.
But as for toning it down. I'm sorry I didn't realize your number of posts directly corresponds to your experience with growing mushrooms. lol

No, just to be clear you were wrong.
Quote:
thus a 3.5 gram bag of mushrooms containing 2 large mushrooms has the same amount of psilocybin as 2 small mushrooms weighing approx 1 gram (whatever you name it). so a 3.5 gram bag of mushrooms containing small mushrooms is 3.5 times as potent as the first bag. size does matter.
That is not correct. Production of actives slows down a little as the fruit matures but certainly doesn't stop.
It's ok for people to be wrong. It's not an attack on your character. It's not expected for you to know everything right away.

FF is correct. That logic is not accurate at all. True it is POSSIBLE that 2 small shrooms weighing 1g COULD be more potent than 2 big shrooms weighing 3.5g, but in most cases that is not the case. Each shroom is different!
