how to keep jars up to temp?

whats the best way to keep my jars up to a constant temp. i read the deal with a fish tank and a submerged tank heater. seemed like a good idea, but if you have a better idea pls let me know, im going to start this weekend,first time so im gonna ask alot of questions,thanks to all, peace

don t worry so much about the temp being a critical 86F. as long as your around that youll be fine, in fact room temp a little lower would be better since the mycelium itself produces heat.

If you have access to an old metal file cabinet? They work great. Just throw a heating pad on low in the bottom drawer or underneath the file cabinet & place jars in any drawers above it. Be sure to monitor the temp & adjust accordingly, Like this:

Beattle's right. In fact the mycelium produces enough heat that if your incubator is insulated well enough(black fuzzy blanket), I have found that you don't need any sort of heating device to keep the temp in the low to mid 80's. Keep in mind that's only for my rye-spawn-running incubator. For anything else, a heating pad or something should do just fine.
