I've been out of the game for about 5yrs or so, as the title states I'm wondering if the casing is on the right track it's been in the terrarium for about a week... The humidity's @ 99% and the temps been 73-78... WBS is the Sub
i put the casing in when there was just a little bit of mycelium poking through the valleys... the strain is HAW (PESA ?) from TLG, the syringes were 5 yrs old.. lol and still grew as well as some B+ and FLA (F+ ?) (not sure of the strain names, been to long, if anyone knows thank you in advance)
i have some KSSS (new syringes) thats colonizing the casing layer right now and will be put in the Terr tonight... all so Mazatapec that's still colonizing WBS
all the pics are of HAW, FLA has just a few spots of Mycelium (no Pics)

thank you, BT

here are the HAW been fruiting for 2 days now

here's the KSSS casing starting to knot and some fruits starting to form...

also put a 2 large casing in the incubator today, one's KSSS (3quart) and the other Mazatapec (2quarts), i'll get pics of those in about 3-4 days

i should add that the casing is:
4 parts peat 1 part calcium carbonate (Lizard Sand ran though a coffee grinder ) 1/2 part crushed oyster shell 1/2 part perlite to make the mix fluffy
i could find vermiculite so i used this recipes, had to mist more
on the casings i just put in the incubator:
4 parts Jiffy Premium Seed Starting Mix (this is 50/50 peat/verm pH balanced)
1/2 part calcium carbonate (ground Lizard Sand) 1/2 part crushed oyster shell
i still can't find verm for some reason, glad i found this stuff
for search purposes: calci-sand, All Living Things Reptiles Calcium Substrate off brand ALTRCS is what i used much cheaper

also the HAW spore syringe was 5 YEARS old and not refrigerated at all, even went through a hot Texas summer in my brief case in the garage lol
maybe that's why it took so long to fruit
