pf tek/B+ questions

I'm a complete beginner, never done this before so i have a few questions before i start.
when i inoculate i wont be sterilizing with a alcohol lamp but instead a butane stove torch, is this ok? (I'll also do it in a glove box)
when i wait for my brf cakes to colonize should they be kept in the dark or does it make a difference?? (I'm gonna try to keep them at 75-80 degrees)
my terrarium is 12 inch deep 20 inch long and 10 inch wide. it is a glass fish tank, so i wont be able to make holes in it, will this be ok?? and should i keep the top covered (besides to fan+spray) or leave it closed, I'm thinking they wont get enough fresh air so any one have tips on what i should do about the terrarium? i don't want to go out and spend more money until i have a successful yield
with the 12 inch deep terrarium how many inches of perlite should i put on the bottom to keep good humidity??
also whats the best spore site has sold b+ cubes and hasn't had an issue with them??

just use a regular ciggy lighter to sterilize your needle. gloveboxes are good, sterilize between each jar then wipe your needle down with an alcohol soaked paper towel to cool it
keeping your colonizing jars in the dark it what you want to do and those temps will be perfect
if you have no holes your going to want to mist and fan alot throughout the day to keep fae's up (frequent air exchanges) and to keep your humidity high. rubbermaid totes are extremly cheap and will work alot better than a fish tank. but yes keep a lid on it throughout the day.
keep a good 4-5" of well drained damp perlite in there.
i make my own syringes so i dont know of any sites that are better than others

Check out any of the Shroomery sponsors for your spores... I have ordered from most of them and they are all very reputable.

ill go check the stores for cheap rubber maids, the thing was i just don't want to spend alot of money on my first time just in case i fail. hmm, what dimensions should i go with??
I'm pretty confident that shroomery would keep up unreliable spore shops in here if they weren't but a few posts down there's a guy who bought b+ from a sponsor and he had no colonization so he re-inoculated the same jars with different strand from a different sponsor and had good results, it makes me a little paranoid that there could be companies selling fake spores.
i am a newbie :P ill check out ralphs if its on the sponsor's

Raplhster's will give you a free syringe of the strain of the month if you ask for it when you place an order...
