hey, anybody own a pair of these? http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/products/products_sprint.cfm since i'm into unusual sports like unicycling and shit i'm totally getting a pair as soon as i can afford em.
probably fun to take a walk with while tripping

I rock climb and I have seen a couple of people walking up to the climbing areas in those things. They look sort of cool, and sort of perverted.

holy SHIT those are the shoes!! I saw those a long long time ago and even made a thread here about them like forever ago! That ROCKS!
Are there any other kind of shoes like it? Those are super expensive??

Apparently if you want to be elite, you have to have the cash. As for me, I am not of the elite. I know of no other brands like this.

Wow I really want a pair of those! Those look perfect for camping. I wonder if it is equivlent to running barefoot. Are all of you aware that running barefoot is a great way to prevent injury? idk ramble on those look fun as hell!!

The vibrams are awesome. I bought a pair when I made my transition to barefoot running. To me they're worth it. You have to know what to expect though- it is essentially barefoot with the slightest bit of padding.
Just avoid doing any parkour with them. I went tracing with a couple of buddies and slapped my feet on the pavement pretty hard- the shoes definitely teach you some grace!
