improper proportion RF substrate mix .. consequences?

I have 5 out of 10 jars successfully colonizing on my first cultivation attempt. 2 jars are nearly complete, one is on its way, and two are sort of struggling. I hit the three week mark yesterday, but I know for a fact that the 2 jars are struggling because I kind of over did it with the rice flour in their mix. You can literally see that there is too much RF in the struggling jars. Besides taking longer for the mycellum to take over, are there any other consequences that could occur, perhaps a complete halt in growth?
I would assume that it will only take longer, not completely disrupt the process. Either way, I want to thank this site for such a kick ass introduction, I am seriously falling in love with mycology.

Yep ... it is fun and addictive.
Vermiculite is great for substrate texture ..... air space .... so the mycelium can quickly grow through it. Also good for moisture retention.
You may be OK with the overly 'flour'd' jars .... how far did you get it off?
Good luck, have fun.

id say i over did it by about 2 tea spoons of RF in each of those jars, however the vermy and water was mixed well with the RF so it is all spread out. I am just a tad bit worried .

the biggest thing about this hobby is being patient... just give it time and dont fuck with it... leave it in the dark
This is a very common mistake for cats to make... if you look at it everyday and expose it to light, then it will slow down growth alot, in my experience.. look monday, leave in the dark till thursday, then check again... you will be happy you did... its nice when you have a fruiting chamber and jars going at the same time, because then you can look at your FC all you want, and forget about the jars for a few days... I usually dont even look at the ones I noc'd u for about a week... once you start doing it more, you will find that the jars and myc growth and all that are the easiest part of this... fruiting is what will have you worried... eventually you will get to the point where you KNOW that you sterilized and noc'd up the jars right and you wont even look for a few days
