Lies.
Not if it's anything like the pain I had when one of my molars was rotting out after I neglected to have my wisdom teeth pulled for 3 years, causing it to crack in half and become infected. .But I guess that's a little further than a toothache. Oh my god, the pain... the pain. one day in particular it was so excrutiatingly bad my friend drove me to the ER he was so worried. clove oil wouldn't do shit to that My solution was going to the dentist.. extracted wisdom teeth + 50 percocets = bliss.
Cayenne pepper is the world's most powerful natural stimulant.. gets the heart pumping and increases blood flow.. has very good pain killing properties used externally.. so that might help.. also might make it hurt more.

penicillin... are you kidding, penicillin is not a pain pill its for fighting off bacteria and infections .penicillin will never stop your pain. at least no more then the placebo effect.
Penicillin will kill the infection of the root nerve. The infection is the source of the pain because bacteria are literally eating at the nerve in his tooth.

Anbesol is cheaper and available on more street corner drug depots than coke if you don't live in the ghetto.

If you can't stand to drink some alcohol, then you're just going to have to wait the pain out until the dentist gives you some vikes (IF he gives you vikes. I went in for an abscessed tooth a few weeks back and all I got were some lameass T3s. They don't give any thing better than vikes, either, unless it's something like a dry socket or some other horrifying dental problem.)

I had 3 rotten molars that split in half. I had them split in half for 3 years, ended up eating only with my front teeth. I had them root canaled and reconstructed not long ago.
And I never complained about the pain.

thank you everyone for all your comments but thankfully a friend came through for me and brought over some tramadols. i took two of them right away and spent the rest of the night feeling super not to mention i actually slept good which is good cause i had to go back to work this morning :/ anywho i think the penicillin is finally starting to kick in which is damn good cause the infection was starting to travel to my ear and my glands.

It's gonna cost a lot more if you put off the dentist... for example
You probably have a cavity that has reached the nerve. no biggy, there is a good chance all you need is a filling... $100-$240
Put it off awhile... and you need a root canal.... $800
Put it off awhile longer... and you need a crown.... $1000+ the root canal
Put it off awhile longer and you'll need a post to put that crown on.... $500+crown+canal.

When I have a toothache I take an asprin or ibuprofen, 500 mg and place in my mouth on the tooth that is in pain and gently bite it. Don't chew it, just hold it in place so that it melts there. The taste sucks but it seems to numb the surrounding area a little bit.
Or use an ice skate Castaway style
