So yet again the mighty Shroomery Search engin has been so-so when its come to finding pictures of colonized honey LC's, Lots of LC prep and contaminations, only a few pictures of colonized LC's. I was wondering if any one has any pictures of Colonized LC's that started with sediments in the bottom after PC'ing.

Thats so clear i would think it was Karo. What are you guys mixing your Honey to water ratio? I did a table spoon of natural honey for 250ml of water, there are sediments after Pc'ing and everything.

Are those in a baby bottle?? Also, would one be able to simply inoculate a pf jar by pouring an lc on it, if a syringe is not available? Minus the dry verm layer of course.

They are in baby bottles, there is a more or less step by step tek you can find to making your own the same way that I do if you click the LC link in my Sig,as far as the pouring LC on a cake thing(As you said minus the dry verm layer)I see no real reason why it wouldn't work but I don't grow cakes and have never done it I wouldn't "Pour" anything and just use a small amount or I'm guessing your will throw your moisture content off drastically and ruin your project

O and if you do decide to do this LC pouring on cakes experiment I strongly recommend doing it in a still air box because exposing your uncolonized substrate to open air long enough for you to get the Lc on it will have already left it open for all manner of nasty contamination
