(i use firefox & xp)
when i right-click a thread link (to open in a new tab), it jumps the entire forum to page 2. then when i click the back button, it marks all posts as read. this all happens randomly. at least once every few minutes. i thought it might be my mouse or computer but when i visited jnny, it did the same thing on her computer ( & she uses the latest IE/xp i believe)
anyway, it just did it again so i thought i'd ask whats goin on with it?

Can you figure out how to reproduce it so that it breaks every time? You are narrowing in on a bug that I (and Ythan) have been trying to find for a long, long time. The problem is we can never seem to get the problem to reproduce itself long enough to track down the cause. I found the cause of the beginning of the problem, a database entry getting corrupt, but I haven't been able to figure out what causes the entry to get corrupt. Please, any details that you can provide to reproduce this bastard is greatly appreciated.

this randomly happens w/ me as well. often notice it when i try to copy some text via select then right click to copy command.
i'll try turning off gestures and see if that helps- maybe i'm just fucking up the gestures but i have never been able to use them anyways.

Haha I've tried many a time to use the mouse gestures with my track pad, but it's pretty fucking impossible with only the one button.

This happens to me on occasion as well with FireFerret/XP. I will see if I can replicate it consistently.
Edit: Does this only happen when using laptops or a touchpad for all of you?
