My friend and I were talking about acid and time... and eventually came to this thought:
Do people perceive time differently?

Each person perceives time differently in many different ways. So I'd definitely agree separate people experience time differently.
Pretend two people are on a roller coaster. One is having a great time, and so "time is flying". Another one is extremely anxious and analyzing every moment, etc. Time drags on and takes forever to pass. Same time frame, different experience and perception.

Indeed. Take 5 minute, when you enjoy yourself? Feel like a short time? Then take 5 minutes, when you hold your hand in a fire.. Feel like a long time?

Therefore laughing causes brain damage
And fire causes hand damage.
We have two truths now people, lets build from here.

Do people perceive time differently?
Sure. And the same person perceives it differently at different times too.
Ever heard the phrase: time flies when you're having fun?

Yep, and thats where this thought derived from.
I guess I was just stoned and thought it so wierd that the person next to me could experience something so relevant to life in a completely different way than I when all we were doing was driving in a car smoking weed. Sober, however.... I still find it trippy

Whats insane is that synchronized clocks will actually tick at different rates depending on the gravitational fields that they are in. One arrives in the future sooner than the other. Wonder if this is a possibility for a human and what that might entail.

There is no time, just the movements of "energy", a clock is a referencing device that is expected to utilize an equal amount of energy at equal intervals, the loophole being that the mechanics of this device are sensitive to any force, including reduced or increased gravity
"passage of time" never really existed, its always simply the very essence of whatever physical reality is, all its properties and unknown forces, in constant fluctuation
What im finding to be more reliable and valuble than identifying constituent parts of physicality, such as molecular structures, is identifying just "motions" in all thier diversity, studying motion to me is more important than property. Of course, this isn't always the case, throwing me a lit stick of dynamite or a frisbee has thier differences.
But it is the familiarity with motions of energy, sensed, felt innately, or hypothetical that actually are more thriving with life, feeling, premonition, character. They are subtle, and often require the superimposition of imaginative referencing ques. Like constructing some illusory matrix of possible character by watch, a person move, the processes of a beaurocratic office, the evolutionary process. Static form is never static, always chaging, so then it is the expressing untransformed energy moving through any given pupal state which is the most valuble information

More possible than you might think. Read this post: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/7860793#Post7860793

An interesting article I just Stumbled upon:
http://discovermagazine.com/2007/jun/in-no-time
The article is lengthy for the point they are trying to get across, so if you don't want to read it:: Scientists are starting to think time doesn't exist.
